Clinical Director & Clinical Training Coordinator

Dez will be joining us as a Clinical Training Coordinator supporting our behavioral health teams! In this role, she will work closely with program directors across service lines to identify areas of clinical training need and guide development of these identified gaps. She will lead relevant behavior consultant cohorts, be available for on-site coaching and feedback as requested, and provide assistance in recruitment and development of newly hired staff. She will be working within our school division to provide consult for high acuity cases, as well as provide expanded programmatic support and coaching to identified AS, ES, and LS teachers within district contracts. Additionally, she will support the growth of our school division by assisting in the development of new programs and initiatives.
In her previous role as the Program Director of Consultation Services at Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center (SPARC), Dez supervised programming for all individual behavior consultative services, school and home based services, social skills, and early education programs. She also served as the Lead BCBA on SPARC's feeding and diagnostic team for many years. Her clinical and research expertise and interests are in behavior analysis, staff training, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavior disorders, parent training, special education, and the treatment of severe problem behavior, including feeding disorders.
Dez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Autism Education from West Chester University and her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Temple University. Dez has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including public and private schools, home, clinic, residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse treatment, and brain injury rehabilitation. She is passionate about early childhood education, staff training and development, and support/ mentorship
